One of the key differences between banks and credit unions is the democratic structure and control of credit unions. Our Board of Directors is not a group of paid shareholders, but a group of unpaid member volunteers who are elected by the membership to oversee the governance of the financial cooperative.

In 2024, The Nominating Committee selected 3 candidates for three open board positions. The following individuals were elected through acclamation by the membership: Congratulations to Rick Bernal, Renee Jimenez, and Barbara Walker on their appointments to the Board of Directors, and to Joshua Orozco as our newly appointed Chairperson of the Board!
