Tap, pay, and be on your way with Microsoft Wallet.
You can store all of your FirstLight Visa credit or debit cards in Microsoft Wallet so it's easy to make purchases.
Microsoft Wallet is available at over a million retail locations, anywhere you see the contactless payment symbol or the Microsoft Wallet logo. You simply tap your phone on a contactless payment terminal, and your default credit or debit card is charged.
To get started, download the app on your compatible Windows 10 mobile device, sign up and load all of your FirstLight Visa credit or debit cards.
For more information, visit the Microsoft Wallet site.
By using Microsoft Wallet, you get a more secure way to pay:
- When you pay for purchases, Microsoft Wallet does not share your credit or debit card number with the retailer, reducing the chance of fraud.
- When you tap to pay, Microsoft Wallet sends a single-use transaction number and an encrypted security code that won't work for any other purchase, person, or device. This, plus the device PIN you use to unlock your phone, makes paying with Microsoft Wallet more secure than using the actual card alone.
- Others can't pay using your Microsoft Wallet—even if they have your phone—because your card numbers aren't stored on it and they don’t have your device PIN.
Using Microsoft Wallet for contactless payments requires a supported Windows phone running Windows 10 and the Microsoft Wallet app, a supported credit or debit card that has been enrolled and linked to your Microsoft account, and a retailer that supports and has enabled contactless payments.
